I JUST LOVE MY JOB!
I started Nova Idea back in 2010 because Graphic Arts and Branding are just part of who I am professionally, but truthfully, this company really started back in my teenage years in Brazil. I was privileged to have a mentor who introduced me to the "old school" Graphic Arts design process, where tools like drawing tables, tweezers, xActo knives, and photosetting drew me to a fantastic world of possibilities.
Adding to that was the necessity I felt to learn the process, so I visited many printing and letterpress shops, screen printers, and manufacturers and met the artists that work behind those machines and brought my creations to life.
Because of that amazing foundation in graphics, as desktop computer processing came on line, I easily adjusted to the new reality within the graphics industry. Computers were a natural progression that allowed me to make the most of my creative tools.
Let's not forget my years at the "Escola Panamericana de Artes," which offered the very first course of Graphic Arts & Design in Brazil and gave me the validation I was looking for as I began my creative career.
Fast-forward almost 30 years, a lot has changed, and I have other passions in life: my lovely wife and two boys are an essential part of this story. Without their support, I couldn't make this business successful. At the end of the day, being an entrepreneur, helping other business owners succeed, and doing what I love is an opportunity that I don't take for granted, and I put all that over every single project that comes through the door.
